Bartender, 2 others charged in bar theft

A bartender at first feared abducted as a result of a burglary at the Century Bar on November 9 has now been implicated with two other people in the burglary itself.
Jessica Thompson, 26, of Van Wert, a bartender at the business, has been charged with theft and falsification related to initial statements made to police, in connection with the burglary. Both charges are fifth-degree felony offenses.
Also charged were Gregory Jackson Jr., 31, and Corey Salisbury, 30, both of Van Wert, who were both charged with one count of fifth-degree felony theft.
The theft from the bar involved the removal of a significant amount of money and alcohol from the business.
The incident remains under investigation.
