ODOT lists road construction projects

LIMA — The Ohio Department of Transportation’s District 1 has released its final road construction report of the year for the week of November 21.

Road construction projects in Van Wert, Paulding and Putnam counties are as follows:

Van Wert County

Ohio 81, between Ohio 118 and U.S. 127, will be restricted through the work zone for replacement of drainage tile. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

U.S. 30, from Ohio 49 to the state line, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks. Van Wert County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 118 in the village of Ohio City is now open.

U.S. 30, from Middle Point-Wetzel Road to Fifth Street in Delphos, is reduced to one lane through the work zone for a resurfacing project. Work was expected to be completed November 18. Shelly Company of Findlay is performing the work.

Ohio 118 (Shannon Street), between Ervin Road and Main Street, is now open. Traffic will continue to be restricted through December, though, for traffic signal and railroad work. Shelly Company of Findlay is performing the work.

Paulding County

U.S. 127 south of Paulding will be restricted through the work zone for sealing of pavement cracks. Paulding County ODOT is performing the work.

Ohio 49 at County Road 144 will be restricted through the work zone for tile repair. Paulding County ODOT is performing the work.

Putnam County

Pavement sealing of repair areas will take place at the following locations, with traffic maintained through the work zone (Putnam County ODOT is performing the work):

  • Ohio 65, from Leipsic to the Henry County Line.
  • U.S. 224, from the Van Wert County line to Kalida
  • Ohio 190, from Fort Jennings to U.S. 224
  • Ohio 613, from Ohio 15 to the Hancock County line

Ohio 12 in the southwest portion of the village of Columbus Grove was closed October 17 for four weeks for a sewer replacement project. Traffic detoured onto Ohio 65, U.S. 224 and Ohio 235 back to Ohio 12. Stillion Brothers Excavating is performing the work.
