SWCD changes schedule for Thanksgiving

The Van Wert Solid Waste Management District has adjusted its collection cycle to accommodate the Thanksgiving Day holiday this Thursday.

Residents normally receiving curbside recycling service on Thursday, November 24, will have an adjusted collection schedule that will take place Friday, November 25, along with normal Friday collections. All other weekday curbside recycling collections will be as normally scheduled.

The Recycling Center recycling drop-off and compost facility will be open from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Friday, November 25.
