Crestview grad gets coaching honors

A Van Wert County native has been named volleyball coach of the year in a large Georgia county.

James Auld, a 1995 Crestview graduate and the son of John and Jean Ann Auld, received the honor. He is a social studies teacher at North Cobb High School and resides in Acworth, Ga., with his wife, Ilisha, and their two sons, Alex and A.J.

Cobb County, Ga. is an area is centered on Marietta, Ga., that includes a population of more than 700,000 people. Cobb County is also considered part of the city of Atlanta’s five-county metropolitan area.
