St. Marys defeats Cougar girl bowlers

CELINA — The Van Wert Lady Cougar bowlers are now at 1-2 on the season after being out rolled by the St. Marys Lady Roughriders during a match held Tuesday afternoon at Plaza Lanes in Celina.

The Lady Cougars couldn’t get anything to connect and lost with a pin total of only 1,764 to St. Marys’ 2,644.

The leading bowlers for Van Wert were Payton Tussing, with a 138 game, and Kylie Allenbaugh with a 167 game. Leading St. Marys were Kristen Dammeyer, with a 175 game; Erica Keysor, with a 203 game; and Alison Amselman, with a 213 game.

The Lady Cougars have this Saturday off, but return to action on Saturday, December 10, at Astro Lanes in Wapakoneta against the New Bremen Lady Cardinals.
