William G. Hilton

William G. “Bill” Hilton, 93, of Convoy, died at 11:15 p.m. Monday, December 5, 2011, at his residence.

He was born December 10, 1917, in Convoy, the son of the late Walter and Hattie (Hoelle) Hilton. On September 20, 1941, he married Roberta (Crabill) Hilton, who preceded him in death on April 22, 2007.

Survivors include two sons, James “Jim” (Deb) Hilton, DDS, of Detroit, Mich., and John Hilton of Convoy; a daughter, Camille (Doug) Holle of Fort Wayne, Ind.; and four grandchildren.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, December 17, at Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy, with the Rev. Rita Baer officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy, with graveside military rites performed by the Convoy American Legion post.

Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the church.

Preferred memorials: Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy, Convoy EMS Squad or the Convoy Community Foundation.
