Barbara A. Scholten

Barbara A. Scholten, 65, of Van Wert, died at 6:25 p.m. Sunday, December 11, 2011, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

She was born January 30, 1946, in South Bend, Ind., the daughter of the late Raymond and Maxine (Butterfield) Delong. She was raised by the late Bill and Wanda Maples.

Survivors include three children, Michael Scholten of Las Vegas, Nev., William Scholten of Pigeon Forge, Tenn., and Jessica Scholten of Van Wert; and two grandchildren.

There will be no calling hours or services.
