Christmas is right around the corner and the Niswonger Performing Arts Center in Van Wert has the perfect gift for that hard-to-buy-for person. Consider a gift certificate or tickets to any of the NPAC’s upcoming shows after the New Year and make that loved one “artfully” happy.

Tickets have just been released for Fiddler on the Roof, the Tony Award-winning musical that has captured the hearts of people all over the world with its universal appeal. Based on the stories of Shalom Aleichem, Fiddler on the Roof has been lauded by critics again and again. Filled with a rousing, heartwarming score that includes “Tradition,” “Matchmaker, Matchmaker,” “If I Were A Rich Man,” and “Sunrise, Sunset,” Fiddler on the Roof is a timeless classic. The Broadway show is here in Van Wert for two shows on March 3 at 2 and 7 p.m. Tickets are $29-$46. The show is sponsored in part by US Bank.
Also just released are tickets for returning jazz favorite Brian Culbertson. This time he brings along his friend, David Benoit, well known for his Charlie Brown jazz projects. The show is March 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Two of the highest profile keyboardists in contemporary jazz join together for a completely unique pairing. Playing two acoustic grand pianos, Benoit and Culbertson will perform some of their best-known compositions, along with original music they’ve collaborated on specifically for this project. Combining these two very distinctive styles in an acoustic setting will make for a new and exciting concert experience sure to ignite some unexpected sparks! Tickets are $20-$35.
And who wants to miss that big loveable red dog, Clifford, as he and his friends come to the NPAC on March 18 for one show that Sunday at 2 p.m. Beloved children’s book and animated TV show character, Clifford The Big Red Dog, comes to life on stage in this all new family musical, Clifford The Big Red Dog LIVE!, which celebrates Clifford’s 50th anniversary. In this new musical adventure, Clifford and Emily Elizabeth will take the audience on a journey to Birdwell Island with their friends Cleo, T-Bone, Charley, Jetta, and Mac.

They will also share the timeless values of Clifford’s BE BIG!™ ideas — Share, Play Fair, Have Respect, Work Together, Be Responsible, Be Truthful, Be Kind, Help Others, Believe In Yourself and Be A Good Friend — with laughter, songs and dancing that the whole family will love. Tickets are $10-$20. The show is sponsored in part by First Federal Savings & Loan.
