Verizon store opens

Van Wert Area Chamber of Commerce board members helped The Cellular Connection, a new Verizon Premium Retailer, cut the ribbon on its Summit Shopping Center store Friday. The store, owned by RG Communications and operated by Andy and Jody Godwin, offers phones and tablet computers, as well as accessories and plenty of personalized services. Hours of the store are 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 11 a.m.-5 p.m. through the holidays. Telephone number is 567-259-7059. (Dave Mosier/Van Wert independent)
