VWHS announces semester exam sked

Van Wert High School Principal Bill Clifton has announced the first semester examination schedule. Exams will take place Wednesday and Thursday, December 21-22.

All VWHS students are required to take semester exams unless a course does not offer an exam or students have been granted permission to exempt through the school Renaissance program.

According to Clifton, students who do not show up for examinations will receive a zero for the exam and also fail the entire course for the semester, even if they have a percentage equivalent to a passing grade in the subject, since they did not fulfill one of the course requirements: to take the exam.

Students who are absent for any exam must follow all VWHS attendance policies and procedures adopted by the Van Wert City Board of Education. All make-up exams will take place per district regulations.
