CONVOY – A bad second quarter doomed Crestview’s boys’ basketball team as Lima Central Catholic won its Northwest Conference match-up with the Knights, 58-44.

Both Crestview and the Thunderbirds came out strong as LCC led by a basket, 15-13, at the end of the first period. But the Knights’ offense fell apart in the second quarter, allowing LCC to outscore them 12-1 and put together a 13-point lead, 27-14, at the half.

Both teams played mostly even in the second half, with Crestview scoring 30 points in the quarter and the T-Birds putting in 31 counters in the half.
