Troy R. Talbot

Troy R. Talbot, 67, of Van Wert died on Friday, December 30, 2011 at Lutheran Hospital in Fort Wayne, Indiana.  He was born July 16, 1944 in Big Stone Gap, Va., the son of Floyd Marcus and Mae (Back) Talbott, who both proceeded him in death. 

Troy is survived by Ruth Healy, beloved companion of 12 years, 4 children, 4 siblings, 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 12:00pm to 3:00pm Wednesday, January 4, 2012 at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, Ohio with a service following at 3:00pm, K.C. Klarner officiating.  A Dinner will follow the service at the VFW on the corner of North Shannon and Jackson Street in Van Wert. 

In lieu of flowers and gifts, those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider a donation to the family to assist with funeral expenses.
