Verlin Gribble
Verlin “Dale” Gribble, 67, of Grover Hill, died Sunday, January 8, 2012, at Paulding County Hospital in Paulding.
He was born October 5, 1944, in McDougal, Ark., the son of the late Barney I. and Eula (O’Guin) Gribble.
Survivors include two sons, Brad (Shadnna Fink) Gribble of Fort Wayne, Ind., and Shawn (Jeanne Seffernick) Gribble of Melrose; four brothers, Talma (Marilyn) Gribble, Alvin (Gail) Gribble, Melvin (Barb) Gribble, all of Grover Hill, and Lee Roy (Lolita) Gribble of Van Wert; and three sisters, Eladis (Junior) Hinchcliff of Grover Hill, Emma (Leon) Whittington of Van Wert and Jeanie (Ishmael) Shelton of Oakwood.
Two sisters, Leona Busbey and Sylva Deckard, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 13, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in Middle Creek Cemetery in Grover Hill.
Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Thursday, January 12, and an hour prior to services Friday at the funeral home.
Preferred memorials: Paulding County Senior Center or Grover Hill Lions Club-Welcome Park Boosters.
