Evelyn M. Miller

Evelyn M. Miller, 85, of Van Wert, died at 8:40 p.m. Monday, January 16, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center of Convoy.

She was born March 17, 1926, in Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Frank and Bertha (Snyder) Breece. On October 18, 1948, she married Kenneth S. Miller, who preceded her in death on October 23, 2005.

Survivors include two children, Regina Flynn of New Haven, Ind., and Kelli Miller of Van Wert; a brother, Gerald (Evelyn) Breece of Van Wert; two sisters, Jean Medford of Van Wert and Phyliss (Bob) Starke of Chicago, Ill.; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

A son, Gale Lee Miller; two brothers, Doyt and Frank Breece; and one sister, Edna Kreider, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday, January 20, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.

Calling hours are from 2-5 p.m. Thursday, January 19, at the funeral home.
