E. Agnes Ulrich

E. Agnes Ulrich, 99, of Delphos, died Sunday, January 22, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born March 24, 1912, in Ottoville, the daughter of the late John C. and Matilda (Miller) Eickholt. She married William J. Ulrich, who preceded her in death in August 2001.

Survivors include three sons, Paul L. Ulrich of Lacy, Wash., John “Jack” (Sharon) Ulrich of Kansas City, Kan., and Arthur “Butch” (Tracy) Ulrich of Naples, Fla.; two daughters, Antoinette (Toni) Osting and Diane (Roger) Horstman, both of Delphos; two brothers, Roman (Margaret) Eickholt and Orval (Olivia) Eickholt; a sister, Calista (Arnie) Miller; a daughter-in-law, Jeany Ulrich; one sister-in-law, Virginia Eickholt; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A son, Rollie Ulrich; two brothers, Ralph and Vince Eickholt; a sister, Katherine Altenburger; a half-sister, Alvertice “Dolly” Friemoth; a great-granddaughter, Samantha Horstman; and a sister-in-law, Agnes Eickholt, also preceded her in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 28, at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in Delphos, with Father Melvin Verhoff officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Church Cemetery in Ottoville.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Friday, January 27, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a Landeck Catholic Ladies of Columbia service will be held at 3 that afternoon and a parish wake at 7 that evening.
