YM partnering with Mad Ants on event
The YMCA of Van Wert County is partnering with the Fort Wayne, Ind., Mad Ants for “Van Wert YMCA Mad Ants Night” on Sunday, February 12, starting at 6 p.m. at the Memorial Coliseum.
Those who buy tickets for this game through the Y or online at www.wepay.com/tickets/vanwertymca will get discounted tickets — $7.50 for Upper Level Sideline (regularly $10) and $14.50 Lower Level (regularly $20); a chance to meet the Chicago Bulls mascot, Benny the Bull, who will be performing at half-time; and a free basketball clinic with Mad Ants players and coaches on Tuesday, February 7. A portion of each ticket sold will also be contributed to the Van Wert Y.
The free basketball clinic for those who buy tickets will be held as follows: children 4 years of age through second grade will held from 6-7 p.m. and those in grades 3-6 will go from 7-8 p.m. The Mad Ants coaching staff and players will run Y ball players through a series of basketball drills and be available for autographs/pictures afterward.
Ticket orders must be placed at the Y or online at the above website by Tuesday, January 31, in order to get these great deals.
