Lady Lancers fall to Lima Central Catholic

The Lincolnview Lady Lancer basketball team lost to Lima Central Catholic, 39-19, in a Northwest Conference game played Thursday evening.

Katie Dye led the Lancers with 7 points, while Julia Thatcher added 6 points for Lincolnview. Stacia Allen was LCC’s top scorer with 14 points, while Lexi Kingsberry added 9 for the Lady Thunderbirds.

With the loss, the Lancers fall to 5-10 overall and 1-5 in the NWC, while LCC is 9-6 on the year and 4-2 in league play.

The Lancer junior varsity team also lost a close one to LCC, 30-29. The Lincolnview JVs are now 8-7 on the year.

The Lancers next play Delphos St. John’s on Tuesday, January 31.
