Luke L. Kill

Luke L. Kill, 98, of Landeck, died at 5:25 a.m. Sunday, January 22, 2012, in Naples, Fla.

He was born November 6, 1913, in Landeck, the son of the late Joseph J. and Mary (Droll Vondran) Kill. On August 11, 1936, he married Mary Dolores (Doughty) Kill, who preceded him in death on March 13, 1995.

Survivors include two daughters, Rosalind Kill of Naples, Fla., and Helen (Gary) DeWyer of Ocala, Fla.; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

Six brothers, Albert, Richard, Harold, William, Eugene and Linus Kill, also preceded him in death.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday, January 30, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Landeck, with Father Robert Kill officiating. Burial will be in St. John the Baptist Cemetery in Landeck.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, January 29, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, where a Rosary service will be held at 7 that evening and a parish wake to follow at 7:30 p.m.
