Cougar wrestlers 2nd at Hamilton Twp.

HAMILTON TOWNSHIP – The Van Wert Cougar wrestlers finished in second place in the Hamilton Township Duals Invitational held over the weekend. Van Wert defeated Independence 48-24, edged Teays River Valley 37-33, dominated Dayton Stivers 61-12 and downed Jackson 56-15 before losing 44-21 to host Hamilton Township in the tournament finals.

Individual champions for the Cougars were Jimmy Hardmon in the 285-pound division, Sean Dorsch in the 138-pound weight division and Zack Burk, as 126 pounds. All individual Van Wert results are as follows:
