Mary Elizabeth VanWyck

Mary Elizabeth VanWyck, 89, formerly of Lima, died at 9:50 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Hearth & Home in Van Wert.

She was born August 15, 1922, in York Township, Van Wert County, the daughter of the late Robert and Ellen (Roberts) Morris. On September 3, 1949, she married Henry VanWyck, who preceded her in death on November 16, 1975.

Survivors include a brother, Warren C. “Dutch” (Mary) Morris of Venedocia; one sister, Laura Lininger of Atlanta, Ga.; three nieces; and two nephews.

A brother, Palmer Morris, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday, February 4, at Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating. Burial will be in Venedocia Cemetery.

Calling hours are from 9-11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
