Audrey B. Vandemark

Audrey B. Vandemark, 94, of Elida and formerly of Spencerville, died  at 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, February 1, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos.

She was born May 14, 1917, in Spencerville, the daughter of the late William M. and Mildred (Bowers) Grunden. On November 8, 1934, she married Lawrence E. Vandemark, who preceded her in death on August 15, 1993.

Survivors include a son, Donald L. Vandemark of Elida; one daughter, Jeannine (Byron) Nolan of Van Wert; a sister, Alma Tyo of Oakwood; five grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren.

A sister, Hazel Jarman; and a half-brother, Harry Rice, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 4, at Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with Pastor Robert King officiating. Burial will follow in Wright Cemetery near Converse.
