YWCA plans 2012 Spring Travel Preview

The Van Wert YWCA has scheduled its spring travel preview for Sunday, February 26, at 3 p.m. Complete information about this year’s travel schedule will be available during the preview, which is held at the YWCA, 408 E. Main St. in Van Wert.

The public is invited to attend this free event, which will include door prizes and refreshments. A full schedule of trips is also available at the main desk of the YWCA.

Scheduled spring trips include the following:

• Escape Winter Brown Bag Mystery – Thursday, March 15. Departure is planned for 7 a.m. for a day filled with new and interesting tours and attractions. A special lunch has been planned and there will be several gifts to bring home. Cost is $79.
• Greektown Casino — Saturday, March 17. Leave at 7 a.m. for this favorite facility. Cost is $35.
• Festival of Nations — April 16-19. This tour provides a look at Great Smoky Mountains National Park in its full springtime beauty. Visit Dollywood to see the Festival of Nations and three delightful shows and much more. Includes 11 meals. Cost is $625 per person, double occupancy.
• Firekeepers Casino — Monday, April 23. Leave at 7 a.m. for a fun day. Cost is $35.
• April Adventure Brown Bag Mystery Trip — Thursday, April 26. Leave at 7 a.m.  for a day filled with fresh ideas, fun tours and a great meal, plus gifts to bring home. Cost is $79.
• Merry May Mystery — May 1-2. This trip will appeal to both men and women and would make a wonderful Mother’s Day gift. Interesting tours, fund surprises, great food and entertainment, plus gifts to bring home. Cost is $285 per person, double occupancy.
