Daniel R. Yoder

Daniel R. Yoder, 52, of Rockford, died Friday, February 3, 2012, at his residence.

He was born September 11, 1959, the son of Ruby (Bellamy) Yoder Scott, who survives in Celina, and the late Robert Yoder. On April 18, 1981, he married Jill (Crabtree) Yoder, who survives.

Other survivors include his stepfather, Glenn Scott of Celina; two daughters, Jessica Yoder of Van Wert and Erica (Steve) Hays of Rockford; three brothers, Tim Yoder of Cincinnati, Mark Yoder of Celina and Steve Yoder of Rockford; two sisters, Bobbi (John) Stoner and Jan Yoder, both of Celina; one grandchild; three  brothers-in-law, Steve Crabtree of San Diego, Calif., Dennis Crabtree of Rockford and Tim Crabtree of Decatur, Ind.; two sisters-in-law, Sheryl (Barry) Harner of Mendon and Susan Hull of Rockford; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, February 9, at Rockford United Methodist Church, with Pastor Chip Steffy officiating. Burial will be in Swamp College Cemetery in Celina.

Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Wednesday, February 8, at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home in Rockford and an hour prior to services Thursday at the church.
