Crestview frosh get win over WT Raiders

HAVILAND — Monday night in freshman boys’ basketball action the Crestview Knights traveled to Wayne Trace to take on the Raiders.

Down 6 points at the end of the third quarter the Knights came out strong in the fourth and outscored the Raiders 18-3 in the last stanza to bring home the victory by a score of 40-31.

The Knights played good team basketball and were very unselfish in the comeback win. Crestview moves to an overall 10-3 record. Next action for the freshmen is this Thursday when they travel to Bluffton to take on the Pirates, with a 5 p.m. tip-off.

This past Saturday, the Knight freshmen traveled to Spencerville to participate in tournament action and competed against the Lima Central Catholic Thunderbirds.

The T-Birds came out very aggressive and played hard to earn a victory over the Knights by the score of 34-30.
