Knights going strong all year long

With the second semester under way, the Knights are ready for new classes, schedule changes, and are preparing for the next wave of exams at the end of the year. Last Wednesday, sophomores were treated to an educational trip to Vantage Career Center where they learned about Vantage’s classes and unique learning environment.
On Friday, February 3, the Varsity Boys’ Basketball Team played against Allen East and won with a score of 69-37. The boys also played Hicksville on Saturday, finishing with a score of 68-42. They will play Bluffton on Friday, February 10.
In other news, on Saturday, February 4, Crestview’s Scholastic Bowl had competition at Van Wert. They also had competition on Monday at Ada and placed third of ten teams.
Additionally, on Monday, former Ohio State football player and Van Wert High School grad, Joel Penton, spoke to high school students about making right choices. A free concert, sponsored by the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and performed by Ryan Holliday, took place that evening.
Crestview also boasts competition in the musical field. Crestview Knight Vision competed on Saturday, February 4, where they placed fourth. Their next competition is at Dekalb on Saturday, February 11. With so much going on for Crestview students, the second semester will prove to be as busy and exciting as the first. Go Knights!!
