Fickel joins staff of Family Health Care

Family Health Care of Northwest Ohio Inc. is pleased to announce the addition of another provider.  Sue Fickel, CNP, joined the staff and is now providing primary care services.

Fickel lives with her husband, Gary, on a farm in the Columbus Grove area, and brings a strong clinical background to the Health Center, having worked for several years in an emergency department prior to receiving her nurse practitioner certification.

Fickel graduated from Duke University with a post-master’s certification FNP. She also has a Master of Science degree in nursing from Grand Canyon University, a Master of Arts degree in management from Regent University, and a Bachelor of Science degree in nursing from Bluffton College.

Family Health Care (FHC) is located at 140 Fox Road (419.238.6747) and is accepting new patients.   The Health Center serves clients with Medicare, Medicaid, private insurance and also accepts clients who are uninsured or underinsured.  Clients without insurance or inadequate insurance are placed on a sliding fee scale based on household income (income verification required).

Providers, along with Fickel, include Dr. Tom Lautzenheiser and Mary Coplin, CNP.  FHC receives assistance from United Way of Van Wert County and individual contributors.
