Lowell Crisenbery
Lowell “Gene” Crisenbery, 79, of Elida, died at 5:01 a.m. Friday, February 10, 2012, at his daughter’s residence.
He was born September 13, 1932, in Van Wert County, the son of the late Lowell B. and Marjorie (Fronefield) Crisenbery. On March 1, 1953, he married Marian (Stemen) Crisenbery, who preceded him in death in 2007.
Survivors include three sons, Jay (Donna) Crisenbery of Crown City, Lowell “Lee” (Miriam) Crisenbery of Goshen, Ind., and Lyndell (Lou Ann) Crisenbery of Patriot; three daughters, Connie (Phil) Bear of Parsonsburg, Md., and Darlene (Doug) Sandlin and Linda (Brian) Powell, both of Elida; a brother, Jerry Crisenbery of Ada; one sister, Karen Nolan of Bluffton; 34 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
A great-granddaughter, Jazmin Sandlin; and two brothers, John and Donald Gale Crisenbery, also preceded him in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 13, at Sharon Mennonite Church in Elida. Burial will be in Sharon Mennonite Cemetery in Elida.
Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Sunday, February 12, at an hour prior to services Monday at the church.
