Young Artists Recital set for Sunday p.m.

The ninth annual Van Wert County Young Artists Recital will be held this Sunday, February 12, at 3 p.m. at First United Methodist Church in Van Wert.

Sponsored by The Van Wert County Foundation, in cooperation with the Van Wert, Crestview and Lincolnview high school music departments, this music recital features students who competed at this year’s OMEA Solo & Ensemble Contest. Based on their adjudicated performance, select performers were recommended for this recital.

Shown at right are members of the Lincolnview High School choir program that will be performing this Sunday. In addition, select members from the Crestview choir and Van Wert High School choir and band programs will be performing.

The public is invited to attend this free musical event. A reception to honor these student musicians will follow the recital.
