Wendy’s jr. high tourney finals set

Wendy’s Northwest Conference Junior High Boys’ Basketball Tournament sets championship game participants to be played Saturday, February 18, at Crestview.

The Wendy’s NWC Junior High Boys’ Basketball tournament held its final four games this past Saturday at both the seventh and eighth grade level at Crestview.

In seventh grade action, Spencerville defeated Paulding, 47-38, and  Crestview defeated Lima Central Catholic, 43-38.  Spencerville and Crestview will tangle for the championship at 11 a.m. on Saturday.

In eighth grade action, Lima Central Catholic defeated Crestview, 48-31 and Spencerville defeated Delphos Jefferson in overtime, 50-49.  The T-birds and Bearcats will match up for the eighth grade championship game at 12:30 p.m.
