Russell Junior Holtsberry

Russell Junior Holtsberry, 79, of Paulding, died Saturday, February 11, 2011, at the Defiance Area Inpatient Hospice Center.

He was born September 8, 1932, in Paulding County, the son of the late Russell C. and Alice V. (Miller) Holtsberry. In 1986, he married Kim Holtsberry, who preceded him in death in 1990.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa Holtsberry of Tennessee and Laresa Johnson of Paulding; a son, Mark (Lisa) Holtsberry of Paulding; four brothers, John (Shirley) Holtsberry of Ayersville, Charles “Topper” (Rae) Holtsberry and Rodger (Rose) Holtsberry, both of Paulding, and Justus (Elvene) Holtsberry of Oakwood; six grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Three sisters, Joan Holtsberry, Iona Dysinger and Delores Yoh, also preceded him in death.

Private graveside services will be conducted at Hedges Cemetery in Paulding.

There will be no calling hours.

Preferred memorials: Donor’s choice.
