Tickets on sale for Tony-winning musical

The Niswonger Performing Arts Center of Northwest Ohio is pleased to announce that In The Heights, the Tony Award-winning musical will be coming to Van Wert on Monday, May 14, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are available for purchase, beginning today at noon.

Winner of the 2008 Tony Award for “Best Musical,” In The Heights won Broadway’s highest honor by first winning its heart. A musical full of exuberant song, dance and a story line set in today’s modern world, the New York magazine calls it a “A groundbreaking 21st century musical.” Time magazine says, “An exuberant, animated shrine to the importance of family ties and being faithful to where you come from.”

In the Heights is set in Manhattan’s Washington Heights, where the windows are always open, and the breeze carries the rhythm of three generations of music. Discover where you belong with In the Heights, a show full of dreams, struggles, dance, and heart. This Broadway sensation wraps up the 2011-2012 NPAC show season on an award winning high energy level!

Area residents won’t want to miss this show. Tickets for the 7:30 p.m. show range from $16 to $46 and will be available online at www.npacvw.org, by phone or in person at the box office.
