Lancer girls lose to NWC foe Spencerville

The Lincolnview Lady Lancer basketball team lost to Northwest Conference foe Spencerville 63-40 in action Thursday night.

Julia Thatcher led the Lancers with 14 points, while Katie Dye added 13 points for Lincolnview. Lady Bearcat Jennifer Post led all scorers with 34 points.

Spencerville got off to a quick start, leading by 8, 15-7, at the end of the first quarter. The Lady Bearcats were up by 16, 33-17, at the half.

The Lancer offense just couldn’t get untracked, and Spencerville also outscored Lincolnview in the second half, 30-23, for the 23-point margin of victory

The Lancer junior varsity team was victorious, 24-18.
