Extension seeking booths for QA event
Van Wert independent/OSU Extension information
The Ohio State University Extension Office is searching for producers and feed businesses interested in working with young people and their livestock projects.
Businesses interested would be able to set up a booth at the Junior Fair Building and would be available to speak with the nearly 300 youths and their families in attendance for the livestock Quality Assurance sessions.
The Extension office invites feed producers or sales representatives to register on Sunday, March 4, from 1-4 p.m. or on April 17, from 5-8 p.m. at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds. Cost to businesses would be $25 total for both sessions and would support the livestock Quality Assurance programming. Businesses are welcome to man or leave stations.
Young people will be attending sessions for livestock quality assurance and will have free time to visit booths for more information about products businesses offer.
Those interested should contact Heather Gottke at the OSU Extension Office 419.238.1214 for more details.
