Freshman champs

The Van Wert freshman boys’ basketball team won the Western Buckeye League freshman tournament this past Thursday by beating Ottawa-Glandorf in the championship game by a score of 61-52. The team defeated Kenton and Findlay to advance to the finals. The freshmen finished the season with a record of 12-4. Jeff Hood coaches the team. Team members are Connor Holliday, Nick Keber, Brant Henry, Connor Shaffer, Ryan Rice, Nick Krugh, Bryan Mills and Jacob Williamson.
