Deborah Sue Best
Deborah Sue Best, 74, of Bremerton, Wash., died Sunday, February 19, 2012.
She was born January 8, 1938, in Columbus, the daughter of the late Carlton Forry and Mingion (Moore) Crossmack. On October 5, 1958, she married John Leander Best, who also preceded her in death.
Survivors include a son, Michael Best of Arizona; two daughters, Robin (Mark) Siefker of Findlay and Sheri (Robert “O.J.) Simpson of Bremerton, Wash.; two brothers, David (Kathlyn) Forry of New Hampshire and Kingsley (Sally) Forry of Florida; 11 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and three sisters-in-law, Sandy Averesch, Darlene Best and Marjorie Bruskotter.
Her stepfather, Ray Crossmack; and a brother, Dudley Forry, also preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 4, at Harter and Schier Memorial Chapel in Delphos, with the Rev. David Forry officiating. Burial will be in Ridge Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.
Calling hours are from 2-7 p.m. Saturday, March 3, and an hour prior to services Sunday at the funeral home, with a special Order of Eastern Star service and a military service by the Delphos Veterans Council.
Preferred memorials: Order of Eastern Star or a charity of donor’s choice.
