Delphos apartment site of drug bust

DELPHOS — For a period of time, law enforcement officials have been receiving complaints about an alleged “drug house” at 708 Spencerville Road, Apartment A, in Delphos. After receiving the complaints, agents from the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force began a short-term investigation into this residence, which culminated Wednesday at approximately 10:15 a.m. when task force members, along with the Allen County Sheriff’s Department SWAT team, served a search warrant at the residence.

A 53-year-old woman was found inside the residence, along with the following items seized as evidence:

• A large quantity of suspected drug paraphernalia.
• A small quantity of U.S. currency
• A small quantity of suspected marijuana
• Several pharmaceutical pills

The woman found at the residence was not immediately arrested; however, she is facing several potential charges at a future date and her name will be released once she is formally charged.

This is the seventh drug related search warrant served in Delphos in recent months.
