Crime Stoppers will pay you cash for information if it will help the Van Wert Police Department solve a theft that occurred in the city.
On January 14, around 3 p.m., a person lost a wallet while in the area of the 700 block of East Main Street. Later a U.S. postal worker located the wallet while working his route in the area of Burt Street. The wallet was returned to the owner, but missing from the wallet was a large sum of cash.
If you have any information about this crime, call Crime Stoppers at 419.238.STOP (7867). You will not have to give your name or reveal your identity. If your information helps to solve this case, Crime Stoppers will pay you a cash reward up to $1,000.
