Norman E. Tritsch Sr.

Norman E. Tritsch Sr., 74, of Cecil, died Saturday, March 3, 2012, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.

He was born June 22, 1937, in Quincy, Ill., the son of the late Ennis F. and Frances (Randal) Tritsch. On March 23, 1969, he married Barbara (Goings) Tritsch, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Norman Tritsch Jr. of Sherwood; five stepdaughters, Wanda (Scott) Harris and Judith (Gary) Hawkey, both of Oakwood, Esky (Kent) Bushe of Indianapolis, Ind., Carol (Rich) Hendricks of Edgerton and Mary Rosebrock of Paulding; a stepson, Raymond Fouty of Okinawa, Japan; one granddaughter; 17 stepgrandchildren; 17 stepgreat-grandchildren; two sisters, Sandy Shoemaker of Venice, Fla., and Debbie Tritsch of Sarasota, Fla.; and two brothers, Richard Tritsch of Summertine, Fla., and Joe Tritsch of Sarasota, Fla.

A brother, Wayne Tritsch; two grandsons, Ryan and Austin Tritsch; and a stepgranddaughter, Becca Tracy, also preceded him in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday, March 8, at Den Herder Funeral Home in Paulding. Burial will be in Sherman Cemetery in Oakwood.

Calling hours are from 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7, and from 9 a.m. until the time of services Thursday at the funeral home.
