Edythe G. Dean

Edythe G. Dean, 85, died Friday, March 2, 2012, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Delphos after a lengthy illness.

She was born December 6, 1926, in Norwood, the daughter of the late Herbert W. and Ethel L. Nading. In 1946, she married Harold Dean, who survives.

Other survivors include five children, Catherine Dean-Michaels of Arcata, Calif., Thomas Dean of Aurora, Douglas Dean of Fayetteville, Ark., Alan Dean of Prospect and Brian Dean of South Korea; nine grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.

A daughter, Janet Dean; and one brother, Harold Nading, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 8, at Harter and Schier Funeral Home in Delphos, with Pastor Dave Howell officiating.
