VW man arrested for drug trafficking

A Van Wert man was arrested on drug trafficking charges after a search warrant was served at 327 S. Race St. following a short-term drug investigation conducted by the Van Wert Police Department’s Detective Bureau.

Tom L. Karnehm Jr., 55, was charged with trafficking in drugs, a felony of the fourth degree.
During the search warrant police seized $1,330, over 50 grams of marijuana, drug paraphernalia, and two weapons. Additional charges will be brought forward at a later date.
