All-Lima Area swimmers, divers named

LIMA — The Lima Area Swim Coaches Association has made its All Lima Area selections for the 2011-2012 high school swimming and diving season. Twenty girls and 17 boys received All Lima Area swimming and diving honors from the 21 member schools. An additional 11 girls and 14 boys received Special Mention honors and forty-one (41) girls and 34 boys received Honorable Mention honors.

“Swimmer of the Year” honors were awarded to Emily Murphy, Shawnee, for the girls and to Erik Risolvato, Shawnee, for the boys.

“Diver of the Year” honors were awarded to Olivia Schlotterer, Celina, for the girls and Logan Bauer, Botkins, for the boys.

In addition, “Coach of the Year” honors were awarded to Jeff Brown, Shawnee, for both the girls “Coach of the Year” and boys “Coach of the Year.”
