VW Fed gives to Civil War event

Phillip Bair (left), vice president-treasurer of Van Wert Federal Savings Bank, presents a donation of $300 to Joe Steffan, past president of the Van Wert County Historical Society. The money will used for the 150th Civil War commemoration at the museum on July 4. As part of the Holiday at Home celebration, the Historical Society will host Civil War re-enactors, speakers, the Battle of Town Creek Foot Bridge and a Civil War Ball. (photo submitted)
