Girl Scouts at Hat Creek

Girl Scouts of Van Wert attended Hat Creek Rodeo on March 10 as a kick-off to Girl Scout Week. Today is the 100th birthday of Girl Scouting. The girls had a great time. While there, the girls sold Girl Scout cookies (of course) and also invited all the rodeo-goers to donate money to send cookies to members of the military through Heroes in Action.  The Girl Scouts would like to thank everyone at the Rodeo — they contributed enough money to send 45 boxes of cookies to U.S. servicemen and women.
