Ronald A. Bruns

Ronald A. “Ronnie” Bruns, 46, of Fairborn, died at 7:40 p.m. Monday, March 12, 2012, at Wright Patterson Medical Center in Dayton.

He was born February 14, 1966, in Van Wert, the son of the late Roger A. “Butch” and Cathy Jo (Resor) Bruns. On August 15, 1990, he married Kendra J. (Johnson) Bruns, who survives in Fairborn.

Other survivors include two children, Olivia Justin Bruns and Mason Anton Bruns, both of Fairborn; two sisters, Trudy L. Bedwell and Brandy Phillips, both of Rockford; and 12 nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6 p.m. Saturday, March 17, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert, with Pastor Jim Clayton officiating. Graveside military rites will be performed by the combined honors units of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803 and American Legion Post 178, both of Van Wert.

Calling hours are from 1-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
