VW County Fair seeking patron donors

Van Wert County Fair organizers are in the process of sending out letters in regard to the fair patron program started in 2009.  Without private contributions, corporate sponsorship and the generous financial support of the community, the Van Wert County Fair would be hard pressed to keep from raising the gate and grandstand prices, as well as the entry fees.

This year, these contributions are more important than ever. The Fair Board is asking area businesses, organizations and individuals to consider being part of the fair patron program by making a donation of $25, $50, $100, or whatever they feel they can give, to keep the great tradition of Ohio’s fairs going in Van Wert County.

Names of donors will be printed in the 2012 Van Wert County Fair Handbook, if donations are received by May 25.

All other names, after that date, will only be listed on the fair patron signs located near the secretary’s office.
