Clever Clovers have March meeting

The Clever Clovers 4-H group met on March 12 at 6:30 p.m. at Calvary Evangelical Church. Daniel Thompson called the meeting to order and led the group in saying the 4-H pledge. Carolyn Kopak explained the importance of sleep to the club for Health and Safety, and that the average person should get 6-8 hours of sleep.

Alexis Line then updated the club on service projects, which include volunteering at the nearby Wee Care Day Care, sewing pillows for the pediatric ward at Van Wert County Hospital, sewing towel bids for Wee Care Day Care, as well as making healthy treats for the Van Wert Police, Fire, and Sheriff’s departments.

Club members then took time to write “thank you” cards to some of the people who have donated to Van Wert County 4-H. The meeting was adjourned soon after and members enjoyed a snack provided by Alexis and Bradley Line and Rickah Davis.
