Norma Jane Adams

Norma Jane Adams, 85, of New Haven, Ind., and formerly of Van Wert County, died at 2:10 p.m. Wednesday, March 21, 2012, at Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne, Ind.

She was born January 20, 1927, the daughter of the late Wilfred and Dessie (Rayle) Theobald. On August 26, 1950, she married L. Ned Adams, who preceded her in death on November 13, 2009.

Survivors include three children, Debra (Rick) Beard, Joyce (Larry) McCauley, and John W. Adams; three brothers, John (Rita) Theobald, Paul (Ninvah) Theobald and George (Barb) Theobald; Ruth LaRue, Chloris (Corky) Hammons and Naomi Theobald; four grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Private funeral services will be conducted.

Calling hours are from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Saturday, March 24, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert.
