VWHS Drama Dept. sets ‘character tea’

The Van Wert High School Drama Department will host a character tea with the Beauty and the Beast characters on Saturday, April 14, from 1-3 p.m. at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. Children will receive finger desserts, iced tea and punch, and a goodie bag to take home.  There will be coloring, crafts, and mingling with the characters from the show.

Photos may be taken with the costumed cast and guests are encouraged to dress up.  All characters are welcome. They need not be from Beauty and the Beast, or even from Disney. Storm troopers and Jedi knights are welcome!

The cost for the event is $6 for one child and an accompanying adult. Additional adults are $2. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, due to limited seating.
