Jeanne Carol Stuck

Jeanne Carol Stuck, 81, of Eaton and formerly of Convoy, died Monday, March 19, 2012, at her residence.

She was born January 24, 1931, in Fort Wayne, Ind., the daughter of the late William Ford and Rhea Louise (Kreischer) Clay. On May 6, 1950, in Trinity Evangelical Lutheran Church in Convoy, she married Ronald Burton Stuck, who preceded her in death on January 13, 1996.

Survivors include a son, Timothy R. (Michelle) Stuck of Minneapolis, Minn.; six daughters, Kathleen (Dennis) Hann of Houston, Texas, Elaine Laporte of Ventura, Calif., Rachel (Phil) Motycka of Convoy, Sarah (Rick) Springer of Eaton, Ruthie (Donald) Landin of Minneapolis, Minn., and Amy (Matt) Savage of Chapel Hill, N.C.; two sisters, Barbara Allen of Convoy and Elizabeth Clay-Ellis of Englewood; 11 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

A brother, Dr. Thomas H. Clay, also preceded her in death.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 27, at Grace Bible Church in Van Wert, with Pastor Stan VanAusdal of Eaton Church of the Brethren officiating. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery in Convoy.

Calling hours are from 1-3 p.m. Tuesday at the church.

Preferred memorials: WFCJ-FM in Dayton or the National Christian Choir.

Arrangements were handled by Cowan & Son Funeral Home in Van Wert.
