Clever Clovers hold 2nd March meeting

The Clever Clovers 4-H group met at Calvary Evangelical Church on March 26, 2012, at 6:30 p.m.  Carolyn Kopak started off the meeting by leading in the reciting of the 4-H pledge. Clair Gamble then gave the Minutes from last meeting and Molly Gamble reminded the members that dues should be turned in by April 23rd. For Health and Safety, Carolyn Kopak talked about some of the most common ways germs enter the body and how to try to prevent picking up or passing on illness.

Daniel Thompson then advised the group on how to give a demonstration, amusingly enough, by giving a demonstration entitled “How to Give a Demonstration”.  After Daniel’s presentation, Members split up into smaller groups based on what type of project they chose to take (e.g. Clothing, Cooking, etc.).

Jill Gemmer motioned to adjourn the meeting and Erica Keiper seconded the motion. Drinks were provided by Elizabeth Ganger and snacks were provided by Molly Gamble following the meeting. Clever Clovers’ next meeting, a workshop meeting, will be held at Van Wert Middle School on April 9 at 6:30 p.m.
